What you'll do:
n
The expectation isn't that you simply prepare the numbers and move on. You'll be encouraged to understand them, analyse them and look at how the finance function can work better.

You'll manage two direct reports and play a key role across the financial accounting function.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Supporting the month-end close, including GL and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and journals
n
- Preparing and analysing monthly P&L;,
Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting
n
- Analysing revenue accruals across clients
n
- Managing statutory and compliance reporting including BAS, ABS, FBT,
n
- Preparing and maintaining cashflow forecasts
n
- Supporting treasury and cash management activities
n
- Working with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation
n
- Providing guidance and support to other members of the finance team
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting
n

Who you are
n
You'll be a CA/CPA qualified accountant with a strong financial accounting background and preferably with experience working in a complex, multi-entity organisation.
n
You will have managed previously; it doesn't need to be a big team. 1-2 people is ideal.
n
