Cabinet Maker Required | Commercial Joinery | South-West Sydney | $40 - $50 Per Hour | $80K - $100K Annual Salary + Super | Full-Time & Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join an established and growing commercial joinery business in South-West Sydney.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking to work on high-quality commercial projects across Sydney, including corporate offices, retail, hospitality, end-of-trip facilities and bespoke architectural joinery.

n

You will be working as part of an experienced manufacturing and installation team, producing high-quality custom joinery in a modern workshop environment.

About The Role

n

As a Cabinet Maker / Joiner, you will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly and preparation of commercial and architectural joinery from drawings through to completion.

n

The role will involve a combination of workshop-based manufacturing and, where required, installation work on commercial projects across Sydney.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manufacture and assemble high-quality commercial and architectural joinery
n
- Read and interpret detailed architectural and joinery drawings
n
- Manufacture cabinetry, counters, vanities, workstations, lockers and bespoke joinery
n
- Cut, assemble and finish joinery components to a high standard
n
- Work with laminates, veneers, timber products and other joinery materials
n
- Operate workshop machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
n
- Work from detailed drawings, specifications and cutting lists
n
- Assist with CNC manufacturing and automated production processes where required
n
- Complete edging, laminating, assembly and finishing work
n
- Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
n
- Work closely with the Production Manager, Factory Foreman and wider production team
n
- Assist with packing and preparing completed joinery for delivery and installation
n




- Attend Sydney sites for installation and fit-off when required
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
n
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
n

About You

n

We are looking for a qualified or highly experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working in a professional commercial joinery environment.

n

Ideally, You Will Have

n

n
- Trade qualification in Cabinetmaking, Joinery or a related discipline
n
- 3+ years' commercial joinery or cabinetmaking experience
n
- Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans
n
- Experience manufacturing custom cabinetry and joinery
n
- Strong understanding of joinery construction methods
n
- Experience with laminates, veneers and other commercial joinery materials
n
- Competent use of hand and power tools
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Positive time management and reliability
n
- A strong commitment to quality and safety
n
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
n

Working Hours

n

Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm

n

38-hour standard working week

n

Overtime may be available when required by project demands.

Occasional travel to commercial sites across Sydney will be required depending on project requirements.
