Your Responsibilities Will Include

n

n
- Be familiar with food and beverage service etiquette, serving all food and beverage in a professional manner and to the required standards.
n
- Have minimum of 1 year previous experience in a fast paced environment.
n
- A thorough knowledge of all menu and wine list items, in order to be able to accurately advise guests.
n
- Recognise opportunities to use up-selling techniques, in order to increase the average food and beverage spend.
n
- Ensure that the liquor and licensing laws are followed and understand the correct procedures for handling intoxicated and underage guests.
n
- Confidently make food and beverage recommendations to guests.
n

The Requirements Are

n

n
- Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
n
- Current Food Handler's Certificate / Hygienic Practices for Food Safety Certificate.
n




- Experience in a similar role in a luxury environment.Sound beverage knowledge including and not limited to grape varieties, sprits, liqueurs etc.
n
- Full availability up to 36 hours per week including weekends, public holidays,.
n
- Own transport prefereable.
n

This role has opportunity for growth. We are looking for the 'right' candidate, who leads by example and thrives on teamwork to ensure growth of the department! Previous experience in a similar role is necessary. Flexibility with various shifts is required.

HYGIENE AND GROOMING - Naturally in the service industry high standards of personal presentation, hygiene, grooming, and conservative hairstyles are of the greatest importance. This must be present throughout the interview stage.
