Your Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
n
- Plate and present nutritious, well-balanced meals, including texture-modified diets.
n
- Monitor and record food, fridge, freezer, and bain-marie temperatures.
n
- Ensure safe food storage, handling, and hygiene practices.
n
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas and equipment.
n
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
n
n
Skills and Experience Required:
n
n
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Cook (aged care or healthcare setting desirable).
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
n
- Knowledge of food safety and OH&S; standards.
n
- Ability to prepare meals for special dietary needs.
n
- Strong time management and independence.
n
n
