Our client is an established operations and field services business supporting clients across multiple sectors. They're growing their leadership team and looking for someone who can move comfortably between hands-on operational detail and longer-term strategic thinking.
About the role
Reporting to the COO, the Operations Manager takes ownership of operational performance, service delivery and continuous improvement across an allocated portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role, equally comfortable resolving an individual client issue as it is contributing to future operating models and technology-enabled change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning operational performance, workloads, capacity and service levels across your portfolio
- Leading, coaching and developing operational teams to build a high-performance culture
- Managing client relationships and taking ownership of significant service issues and escalations
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation and technology-enabled change
- Working closely with leadership to deliver on operational and strategic priorities
About you
You're an experienced operational leader who thrives moving between the detail and the big picture. You'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a service-based or complex operational setting
- Strong people leadership and performance management capability
- Experience using operational data and reporting to drive decisions
- Proven involvement in process improvement, transformation or technology-enabled change
- Strong commercial judgement and excellent stakeholder communication skills
