A rapidly expanding Australian renewable energy developer and asset owner, backed by significant institutional capital following recent strategic acquisitions. With a substantial portfolio of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage development assets across the country, they are building out an elite, agile team to drive their projects from development through to commercial operation.

The Opportunity

To support their expanding pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Procurement Leader to establish and formalise the business's centralised procurement function. Working closely with the in-house legal team, this role will take ownership of setting up robust frameworks to streamline the bidding, tendering, and proposals processes across the entire project portfolio.

As a key commercial driver, you will lead high-value contract negotiations and manage strategic relationships with tier-one EPC contractors, major OEMs, and Balance of Plant (BoP) partners to progress projects seamlessly through to Final Investment Decision (FID) and construction.

Ideal Candidate





- Demonstrated experience within an owner, developer, operator, or infrastructure fund workplace (client-side).
- Wind, Solar, BESS or Hybrid Renewable Energy experience
- Track record of building or standardising end-to-end procurement and contracting frameworks for major renewable energy or infrastructure assets.
- Strong commercial acumen with deep expertise negotiating major project agreements (EPC, Supply & Installation, BoP, and O&M; contracts) alongside legal and commercial advisors.
- Support lender due diligence, complete outstanding contract schedules, and prepare board packs for the final investment decision.
- Ensure HSE and cost control policies are fully reflected in tendering and negotiations
