Working as part of the Business Services and Advisory team, you'll be responsible for a portfolio of privately owned businesses and individuals. As you develop, you'll have greater ownership of client relationships and the opportunity to become a trusted adviser rather than simply a compliance accountant.

Key responsibilities
n

- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for various entities including companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, with exposure to Division 7a
n
- Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax Returns for various fringe benefits provided
n
- Preparation of BAS and IAS
n
- Tax planning and year-end strategies
n
- Assisting clients with day-to-day taxation and business matters
n
- Liaising directly with clients and Australian Taxation Office
n
- Working with senior accountants and director on more complex assignments
n
- Managing offshore staffs and provide guidance on jobs
n
- Building solid, long-term relationships with clients
n
n
About you
n
n
- Approximately 3–6 years' Australian public-practice accounting experience
n
- Experience preparing financial statements and Australian income tax returns
n
- Studying towards,
or has completed, CA or CPA
n
- Communicates well and is comfortable dealing with clients
n
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
n
- Organised, reliable and able to manage deadlines
n
- Enjoys being part of a team
n
- Wants to continue learning and progressing professionally
