Clarendon Hotel is a 4 Star Boutique Hotel encompassing Bar, Restaurant, Accommodation and Gaming facilities. The venue is forecast for major renovations and expansion in the new year, with a lodged development application recently approved.

We are currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our growing team on a casual basis. A adaptable roster will be available, and the position also has room for growth within the group for the right candidate. You will be responsible for overseeing day/night time operations of the hotel including Bar, Restaurant, Gaming and Accommodation. Extensive hospitality and management experience is required for this role, along with highly attentive customer service skills.

In this role, you will be working closely with the General Manager and other Department Managers to ensure smooth operation of the hotel, whilst supplying positive staff guidance and a memorable customer experience for the Hotels patrons.

- Managing & training of bar staff

- Following Plan Of Management guidelines and Licensing regulations

- Guest relations

- Overseeing gaming area

- Implementing promotions
n
- Liaising with Department Managers and security

Required Experience:

- Sound knowledge of craft beer, wine & spirits
n
- Staff management
n
- Extensive customer service
n
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a multi-faceted hotel is highly sought after

This role is a casual position with approximately 25-30 hours per week with the potential for more hours for the right candidate.
