About the Role
n
Working within a cooperative engineering and infrastructure team, you will provide technical expertise across a range of traffic and transport initiatives, including:
n
n
- Traffic and transport planning
n
- Road safety and infrastructure assessments
n
- Traffic studies and engineering investigations
n
- Development application assessments
n
- Stakeholder and community engagement
n
- Project management of traffic-related capital works programs
n
- Liaison with government agencies and key stakeholders
n
n
To be successful, you will possess:
n
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or substantial relevant experience
n
- Robust knowledge of traffic and transport legislation, standards and best practice
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
n
- Demonstrated project management experience
n
- Current driver's licence
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- Experience with traffic modelling and engineering software
n
- Road safety or traffic management accreditations
n
- Local government experience
n
- Proficiency across contemporary engineering and project management systems
n
n
