About the job

This Associate role focuses primarily on front-end transactional construction work and will see you working closely with leading partners and experienced practitioners on major infrastructure and development matters.

n

You will be involved in drafting and negotiating construction and project agreements, supporting procurement processes and project delivery models, and advising on contract administration, risk allocation and compliance.

n

The role offers exposure to complex and high-value projects while working within a collaborative, high-performing team environment that prioritises learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Drafting and negotiating construction and project documentation;
n
- Assisting with procurement strategies and project delivery structures;
n
- Supporting major infrastructure and development transactions;
n
- Preparing research memoranda, advice notes and project documentation;
n
- Advising on contract administration, risk allocation and compliance matters; and
n




- Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on front-end construction matters.

Requirements

n

n
- Approx. 2-3 years' PQE in a reputable Projects & Construction practice;
n
- Experience in front-end construction work (preferred);
n
- Strong drafting ability and attention to detail;
n
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
n
- Excellent communication and client service skills; and
n
- A solid academic record from a well-regarded university.
