The Opportunity
Based in Karratha, WA, this Branch Manager opportunity leads a successful liquid and materials waste processing site, with genuine autonomy, accountability, and purpose. You will step into a key leadership role overseeing operations, with a robust mandate to drive safety excellence, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
Your ability to lead high-performing teams, supported by strong commercial acumen and experience in complex industrial operations, will be essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a culture of safety and compliance through proactive initiatives, robust systems, and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure effective performance management, talent development, and succession planning to drive engagement, capability, and retention across operational teams.
- Partner closely with Commercial and Finance teams to enhance data integrity, optimise processes, and support strategic market growth.
- Oversee the operational and financial performance of the site, including P&L; ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor and manage operational expenses, implementing efficiency and cost-reduction programs that increase profitability while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
About You

solutions-focused operational leader with a proven record of managing complex industrial operations. You balance day-to-day site leadership with a continuous improvement mindset, ensuring high levels of team engagement, compliance, safety and customer satisfaction.
Were seeking someone with:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong operational management experience in liquid, materials and hazardous waste collection or manufacturing or logistics operations.
- A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a successful track record of implementing practical and effective operational improvements.
- Hold a suitable qualification in chemistry, engineering, or equivalent experience in a heavy industrial operational or manufacturing environment.
