Looking to join one of Australia's most integral federal government departments? This department helps to make life of all Australians safer and is looking for a2 x System Engineers.

n

Working in Brisbane or Melbourne office, you will be focused on engineering fortheir real time tracking and communications platforms.

n

This is an end to end role working onall aspects of systems engineering (design, planning, delivery etc).

n

Aside from the above you will be responsible for

n

n
- Engineering through system design, implementation and support
n
- Supporting existing communications infrastructure
n
- Creation of engineering reports, specifications, feasibility studies etc
n
- Reporting, specifications, documentation of systems
n
- Configuration of systems including hardware, software/firmware, and documentation
n

n





These roles are looking for engineers with a background in communications systems as well real time systems. As such we are looking to see:

n

n
- End to end engineering from implementation, support, monitoring etc
n
- Strong understanding of theSystems Engineering lifecycle
n
- Telecommunications systems engineering
n
- Analogue voice audio hardware and circuitry
n
- N-tier architectures knowledge beneficial
n
- Real time systems experience highly beneficial
n
- Have or qualify as a Registered Skilled Engineer (RPEQ)
n
- Australian citizenship with the ability to get a security clearance
n

On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role with a duration of 2 yearsrates based on your experience around$1100 per day.

n

This role is based in the Brisbane or Melbourne office with a work from home split of 3 days onsite.
