Job Description

We have a current prospect for a Projects ILS Practitioner, on a contract basis within the Defence sector. The role is based in Cairns,QLD. The contract is for a 12 month period.

DSS Skill Set: Level 3 - Integrated Logistics Support Management

n

The ILS Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

n

n
- Perform and manage all aspects of ILS deliverables including codification (NATO) and cataloguing of all items of supply (IOS) within the mandated logistics inventory management systems (LIMS).
n
- Identify supplier and repair pipelines, and as necessary assist Commercial to establish through life support contracts in support of sustainment.
n
- Develop, review and update all technical documentation in support of introduction to service and sustainment of products, such as equipment schedules and repair parts schedules.
n
- Utilising the authorised LIMS, undertake transactions and functions to introduce into service and issue all products and parts in support of projects, in line with directed unit entitlements.
n
- Develop and submit entitlement documentation.
n
- Undertake all aspects of liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including being the key lead POC for all aspects of ILS management.
n
- Participate in various stakeholder meetings, to effectively manage all ILS deliverables.
n




- Prepare or contribute to the creation and review of all reports related to ILS management and artefacts.
n
- Participate in Acceptance Testing related to ILS. Review ILS related test results and make recommendations on the acceptability of outcomes.

Minimum mandatory requirements:

n

n
- AGSVA Security clearance.
n
- Defence experience.
n
- Certificate IV of Materiel Logistics or equivalent relevant experience.
n
- Demonstrated experience as an ILS Practitioner in the Acquisition and Sustainment phases of the Life Cycle.
n
- Demonstrated experience with the Introduction Into-Service of Capabilities and Fundamental Input to Capability requirements.
