We have a role available for a Senior Scheduler in our Defence division This is a permanent full-time position that can be based in Melbourne, Adelaide or Darwin.

About the role
The Senior Scheduler oversees maintenance planning and scheduling across Defence bases, ensuring asset readiness, compliance, and efficient resource utilisation while supporting operational leadership and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coach and support schedulers across BSAs.
- Coordinate work order prioritisation and allocation.
- Enhance scheduling and planning processes.
- Maintain preventive maintenance programs.
- Oversee asset data integrity and reporting.
- Support workforce planning and resource optimisation.
- Participate in governance and stakeholder forums.
- Provide planning and scheduling expertise.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in scheduling, planning, or maintenance coordination.
- Ability to lead, mentor, or provide SME support in complex operations.
- Defence, facilities management, asset management, or related industry experience desirable.
- Robust stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with maintenance management systems and data-driven planning.
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and service delivery.
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
