ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Position

n

We are offering a great opportunity for a motivated, energetic and experienced concreter to join our Engineering Works Section. Reporting to the Supervisor Concrete Construction and Drainage, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to complete the full range of concreting duties associated with the maintenance and construction of footpaths, cycleways, kerb and guttering, drainage and other concrete slabs and structures.

- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in all aspects of concreting, including formwork, placement of rebar, measuring quantity required, ordering, pouring and screeding / finishing, surface treatment, curing concrete based on weather conditions and quality control.

- Demonstrated experience in and ability to perform a range of physical labouring duties.
n
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate various items of minor plant and equipment.
n

- A salary range of $63,700 to $73,100 per annum (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills and experience.
