About the role

n

We are seeking a dedicated Chef to join our busy health care catering team. In this rewarding role, you will prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals that support the health, recovery, and wellbeing of our patients.

n

Working on a rotating roster across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, you will thrive in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment where attention to detail, food safety, and teamwork are essential. While the role can be demanding, it offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with patient dietary requirements and menu plans.
n
- Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and delivered to a high standard.
n
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and infection control practices.
n
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to meet meal service schedules.
n
- Assist with stock control, food storage, and kitchen cleanliness.
n
- Support a positive dining experience for patients through quality food service.
n

What you bring

n

n
- Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen, healthcare, aged care, or hospitality environment.
n




- Relevant recognised qualifications as a Chef
n
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
n
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines.
n
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
n
- Flexible availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
n
- A genuine commitment to supporting patient care through quality nutrition.
