Batchfire Resources is the owner of Callide Mine in Central Queensland, an open-cut coal operation located 120km south west of Gladstone and 20km northeast of the thriving regional township of Biloela.

A long-standing operation, Callide Mine is an open-cut coal mine producing 11mtpa of thermal coal for domestic power generation, alumina refining, and export markets. The operation has extensive recoverable coal reserves and long-term supply contracts in place, ensuring a long-term future.

What Will You Be Doing

n

In this role you will become a part of a busy mine as an Operator. You will be operating Haul Trucks within a coal mining setting as well as other associated equipment, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Water Carts, Service Trucks and/or Excavators. You will be working a lifestyle roster inclusive of a pyjama day, 12.5 hour shifts.

What You Will Need

n

n
- Previous mining experience as a Multi Skilled Operator operating minimum CAT 789 Haul Truck, providing an SSE signed skills list
n
- Current Standard 11 or will to obtain this
n




- Current Coal Board Medical or willing to obtain this
n
- Current Driver's Licence
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Ability to pass site medical and Drug & Alcohol requirements
