We are seeking an Apprentice Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Wingfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in the heavy vehicle industry. You'll gain hands-on experience working with a diverse fleet of trailers and transport equipment, while learning from experienced mechanics in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Assist with servicing, inspections, and repairs on trailers and transport equipment
n
- Learn how to maintain braking, suspension, axle, and air systems
n
- Support trailer wiring and lighting repairs
n
- Help replace and maintain parts in line with safety standards
n
- Work alongside experienced mechanics to ensure trailers are safe and roadworthy
n
- Build your skills in fault finding and workshop practices
n

Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Strong interest in mechanics or the heavy vehicle industry
n
- Willingness to learn and complete (or commence) an apprenticeship in Certificate III Heavy Commercial Trailer Technology (AUR31820)
n
- Successfully completed a minimum of Year 10 or equivalent
n
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Valuable communication skills
n
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
n
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
n
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
n
- Unrestricted Australian work rights
n




- Prior automotive or mechanical experience (desirable, not essential)
