Your new company Hays is partnering with Federal Government organisations delivering major investments across the ServiceNow platform. With a strong focus on platform modernisation, workflow automation, service management, governance, risk and compliance, multiple opportunities are available for experienced ServiceNow professionals to contribute to critical digital transformation initiatives.
Your new role As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, configuring, developing and implementing solutions across the ServiceNow platform. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams, you'll translate business requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solutions. Depending on the project, you may work across ServiceNow ITSM, workflow automation, integrations, reporting, CMDB, ITAM, ITOM, or Integrated Risk Management (IRM) capabilities. You'll be involved in the full solution lifecycle, from design and development through to testing, deployment and knowledge transfer.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and configure ServiceNow solutions across a range of platform capabilities.
- Build workflows, service catalogue items, forms, approvals and automation solutions.
- Deliver integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms using APIs and ServiceNow development tools.
- Support governance, risk,
compliance and reporting initiatives where required.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and design fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
- Experience delivering workflow automation and platform enhancements.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow integrations, APIs and JavaScript development.
- Experience across ITSM and broader ServiceNow platform capabilities.
- ServiceNow certifications including Certified System Administrator and other relevant implementation certifications.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable experience
- ServiceNow IRM or GRC implementation experience.
- Exposure to ITAM, ITOM, CMDB or Performance Analytics.
- Experience working in large-scale government or enterprise environments.
