The Surfside, located on the beautiful East Coast, is seeking a chef/cook to take over the running of the bistro. This role can be offered under the Hospitality Award but preferably on a Contract Basis. The venue offers a relaxed coastal setting and is a favourite spot for both locals and visitors.

Accommodation is available onsite. This position would also suit a couple to additionally assist in the bar, restaurant and accommodation room servicing and bookings.

Role Details

- Part-time position available immediately
n
- Employment under the Award or on a contract basis (preferred)
n
- Accommodation provided if required. Single room or 2/3 bedroom Managers Unit
n
- Restaurant times Mon & Tues. Closed Wed-Fri 5pm-7.30pm Sat 12-2pm & 5pm-7.3 Sun 12-2pm Approx. 25 hours per week
n
- Bar Open: Wed-Fri 4pm-close Sat & Sun Noon-close
n
- Opportunities for a couple with shared roles across kitchen, bar, and cleaning
n




- Scope for a couple to lease the bar/restaurant/accommodation for a set period.

About the Candidate

n

n
- Have experience working in a kitchen and can run service confidently serving up to 35 counter meals in an evening. Junior assistant available.
n
- Enjoy working in a mediumt-paced, friendly environment
n
- Are adaptable and reliable
n
- Value being part of a small, close-knit team
n
- Have excellent people skills, * Restaurant industry: 3 years (Required)
