Looking for more than another month-end role? This is an opportunity to join a well-established global organisation within the financial services sector where finance is viewed as a genuine business partner. Reporting directly to an experienced CFO,you'llstep into a highly visible position where your work will influence financial reporting,controlsand process improvement across both the Australian and New Zealand businesses. The role is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential to make a real impact from day one.

Whatyou'llbe doing:

n

n
- Own key components of the month-end and year-end close process;
n
- Prepare journals,reconciliationsand financial reporting packs;
n
- Complete complex balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances;
n
- Manage GST, BAS and tax reconciliations across Australia and Recent Zealand;
n
- Support statutory reporting and group reporting requirements;
n
- Work closely with auditors and external advisers;
n
- Assistwith accounting across lending, funding facilities,treasuryand financial instruments; and
n
- Identifyopportunities to improve processes, strengthencontrolsand reduce manual effort.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

n

n
- CA or CPA qualification;
n
- Previousexperience within the Australian financial services industry;
n
- Big 4 Audit or Advisory experience (highly regarded);
n




- Strong technical financial accounting skills and knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards;
n
- Exposure to tax,auditand internal controls within a regulated environment;
n
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience highly desirable;
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; and
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
