Our client, Black Lion Tyres Aus Pty Ltd, is seeking an experienced and capable Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing and procurement activities within the business. This full-time position is suited to a motivated professional with strong supplier management, negotiation and organisational skills who can ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and materials required for business operations. Job Responsibility

- Manage and coordinate the overall procurement and purchasing activities of the business while ensuring efficient supply, cost control and effective supplier relationships.
n
n
Duties
n
n
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support the company's operational and business objectives.
n
- Source, assess and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain suitable products, services and commercial terms.
n
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including purchase orders, contracts, deliveries and supplier performance.
n
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely procurement to maintain adequate stock and avoid supply interruptions.
n
- Review procurement costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenditure and improve purchasing efficiency.
n
- Maintain effective and professional relationships with suppliers, vendors and other relevant stakeholders.
n
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, product quality and compliance with agreed terms.
n
- Coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing requirements and ensure procurement activities align with operational needs.
n
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier details, contracts, pricing and procurement transactions.
n
- Prepare procurement reports and provide relevant purchasing and supplier information to management.
n
- Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, inventory management and overall supply chain efficiency.
n

Qualification requirements:
n
n
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce or a related field; OR
n
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
n
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management.
n
- Strong negotiation, analytical and organisational skills.
n
n

Salary

- $75,000 - $120,000 per annum + Superannuation
