We are a family run business that operates from the Gold Coast. Ranging from the Sunshine Coast all the way to Byron Bay and anywhere in between for domestic, commercial and industrial projects.

We have the opportunity for an experienced semi driver to join the Coastal Demolition family where you will be well compensated with a competive industry wage, 50 - 60 hours each week & and a truck of your own to operate and care for.

n

Tasks & responsibilities:

n

n
- Complete prestart activities, planning your day's work, completing any necessary paperwork
n
- Loading and unloadingor demolition materials
n
- Operation of varied company machines ranging from 18t to 40t
n
- Keeping regular communicationwith base whilst completing runs
n
- Keeping your machine well maintained, clean, and in full working order
n
- Reporting any incidents or damage incurred to your machine
n
- Basic communication with management, onsite teams and customers when working on site
n
- Looking for opportunities to increase business and efficiency
n
- Assistance withotheryard duties when machine work is limited
n
- Getting out of the machines to help with sorting picking and directing trcuks in and out of site
n




- Occasionally covering other staff, including someweekend work
n

Experience & qualifications:

n

n
- Minimum of 5 years' prior experience with machine operation in Demolition
n
- Multi ticketed machine operators with demolition experience in;n n
- Shears, pulverisers & hammers
n
- 30 tonne excavators and over
n
- Multi-storey high rises, industrial and factory demolition
n

n
- Construction Card
n
- Robust safety mindset
n
- Willingness to work throughout SEQ as well as FIFO periodically
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol TestReliable punctuality
n
- Efficiency in the job with an emphasis on safety
n
