UGL is expanding its Data Centre business and is seeking an experienced Supervisor - Electrical or Mechanical to support the delivery of some of Australia's most significant data centre projects in Melbourne.

n

Working within UGL's integrated delivery model alongside CPB Contractors, you'll play a key role in overseeing site-based construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring secure, high-quality project delivery across critical infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities across data centre projects.
n
- Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.
n
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and productivity across assigned work fronts.
n
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, permits, and project procedures.
n
- Coordinate site interfaces between subcontractors, project teams, consultants, and client representatives.
n
- Identify and resolve construction issues, risks, and programme impacts.
n
- Support commissioning and handover activities to achieve operational readiness.
n
- Champion a strong safety culture and drive high-performance project outcomes.

About You

n

n




- Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification with industry experience highly regarded
n
- Demonstrated experience supervising subcontractors on data centre or large-scale Commerical fit outs (eg hospitals, defence, stadiums).
n
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality assurance, and site safety requirements.
n
- Proven ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholder interfaces.
n
- Experience delivering complex projects within live or fast-paced environments.
n
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
n
