Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established electrical and industrial solutions business to recruit a Procurement & Account Manager for their Brisbane operation in Banyo.

This varied role combines purchasing, procurement, reporting, supplier management and account management, with a robust focus on supporting mining projects and key customers.

n

You'll work across a range of electrical and power products, including cable, cable accessories, electrical connectors, glands, terminals, lugs, cable management, power distribution products and associated industrial electrical equipment.

n

Position

n

n
- Manage purchasing and procurement activities across mining projects and customer accounts
n
- Source products, obtain pricing and negotiate with suppliers
n
- Manage purchase orders, suppliers, lead times and deliveries
n
- Monitor inventory, demand and project requirements
n
- Prepare reporting around purchasing, sales, projects and account performance
n
- Coordinate pricing, quotations, orders and project requirements
n
- Track outstanding orders and resolve supply or delivery issues
n
- Investigate invoice, pricing and purchasing discrepancies
n
- Maintain accurate CRM, ERP and purchasing records
n




- Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance and customer outcomes
n

Experience

n

We are looking for someone with experience across procurement, purchasing, supply chain, internal sales or account management, ideally within an industrial, electrical, energy, mining or oil & gas environment.

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Experience managing procurement from quote through to delivery
n
- Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills
n
- Experience managing commercial or key customer accounts
n
- Strong reporting, administration and organisational skills
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
n
- ERP/CRM experience such as SAP, Ariba, IFS, Syspro, Coupa or similar
n
- Mining, industrial, electrical, energy or oil & gas experience is advantageous
n
