Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage end-to-end local procurement, from requirement clarification and supplier sourcing through RFQs, purchase orders, expediting and commercial close-out.
n
- Source and evaluate local and regional suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, delivery timelines and compliance with project requirements.
n
- Prepare commercial comparisons, purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with delegated authorities and procurement procedures.
n
- Monitor purchase orders, expedite critical and overdue deliveries, and coordinate closely with Warehouse, Logistics, Engineering and project teams.
n




- Maintain accurate procurement records and support resolution of supplier, delivery, invoice and goods receipt discrepancies.
n

Key Skills & Experience Required

n

n
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain or a similar commercial role within construction, infrastructure, power, mining, manufacturing or heavy industry.
n
- Strong experience in RFQ preparation, quotation evaluation, purchase orders, supplier management and delivery expediting.
n
- Experience working with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP or equivalent.
n
- Solid commercial awareness, negotiation and supplier relationship management skills, with the ability to assess cost, lead time and supply risks.
n
- Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail and procurement compliance.
n
