About the role

Mr Scaffold Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Depot Manager to manage our branch in Stapylton. As the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations within our yard facility, ensuring productive management of resources, inventory, and equipment. You will report to our National Operations Manager in NSW and play a key role in maintaining our high standards of service delivery. This particular yard is run by the Depot Manager (solo operation) with no direct teams or additional resources onsite.

What you’ll be doing

- Oversee the maintenance, organisation and inventory control of scaffolding equipment and materials within the yard
- Ensure all equipment is properly inspected, maintained and stored in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
- Manage yard logistics, including coordination of equipment loading, unloading and dispatch
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and prepare regular stock reports for management
- Implement and enforce workplace health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Support the sales team with customer enquiries and preparation of qoutes
- Safely and efficiently load/unload customer orders, ensuring all goods are handled and secured appropriately
- Deliver customer orders across QLD safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Conduct regular yard inspections and maintenance schedules to ensure facilities remain safe and operational
- Address and resolve operational issues and elevate complex matters to senior management as required

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience as a Depot Manager,



Warehouse Manager or similar supervisory role within the construction sector
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and yard operations
- Demonstrated experience in health and safety compliance and implementation of safety protocols
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Knowledge of scaffolding equipment and best practices in the industry (preferred but not essential)
- Valid driver's licence (Minimum MR Licence - Manual) and willingness to operate yard equipment (Forklift Licence)
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Must be willing to obtain a National Police Check and successfully complete a full pre‑employment medical assessment
