Salary range: $95,000 – $110,000

Our client, Ceylan Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Manager to join their growing transport operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, transport scheduling, compliance management, and operational efficiency across the business.

Tasks Include:
•Plan, coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operation and utilisation of the company’s fleet to support efficient and reliable transport services.
•Organise vehicle allocation and transport schedules according to operational requirements, delivery commitments and fleet availability.
•Coordinate the servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair of fleet vehicles to maintain roadworthiness and minimise operational downtime.
•Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, maintenance expenditure, repair costs and fleet utilisation to identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
•Maintain appropriate fleet records, including vehicle registrations, servicing schedules, maintenance history, inspections, operating costs and compliance documentation.
•Liaise with drivers regarding vehicle availability, scheduling, maintenance requirements, breakdowns and other day-to-day fleet operational matters.
•Manage relationships with external service providers, including vehicle repairers, maintenance contractors, fuel suppliers, tyre providers and other transport-related suppliers.
•Monitor transport operations and respond to vehicle breakdowns, delays,



scheduling conflicts and other operational issues to minimise disruption to services.
•Ensure fleet operations and vehicles are managed in accordance with applicable transport legislation, registration and licensing requirements, workplace health and safety procedures and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
•Review fleet requirements and assist management with vehicle acquisition, replacement and disposal decisions based on operational demand, vehicle condition and cost effectiveness.
•Prepare and review fleet utilisation, maintenance, operating cost and compliance reports to support management planning and operational decision-making.
•Identify operational risks and implement appropriate procedures and corrective measures to improve fleet safety, reliability and overall transport efficiency.
•Supervise and coordinate fleet-related activities to ensure vehicles are available, properly maintained and effectively utilised across the company’s transport Operations.

Qualifications and other requirements
•Diploma level qualifications or equivalent in Transport Management, Logistics, Business or equivalent work experience.
•At least 1 years of Full-time work Experience as Fleet Manager, transport coordination, or logistics management.
•Strong understanding of transport compliance, vehicle maintenance, and operational planning.
•Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities effectively.
•Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within the transport industry.
