About the Role

n

As a Prepaid Tele-Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for customers enquiring about prepaid funeral services. Operating within a fast-paced contact centre environment, you'll manage inbound and outbound enquiries, nurture leads, schedule appointments for Prepaid Consultants and support customers throughout their journey.

n

This role combines sales, customer service and relationship management, requiring strong communication skills, empathy and a proactive approach to achieving results.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage inbound enquiries from prospective customers across multiple channels.
n
- Provide clear, accurate and compliant information regarding prepaid funeral options.
n
- Conduct outbound calls to warm leads and existing customer databases to identify opportunities and generate appointments.
n
- Nurture and progress customer enquiries through ongoing phone-based engagement.
n
- Schedule appointments for Prepaid Funeral Consultants using booking and CRM systems.
n
- Accurately capture and maintain customer records and interactions.
n
- Handle customer concerns and escalations professionally and efficiently.
n




- Work closely with internal stakeholders to maximise appointment attendance and customer outcomes.
n
- Support customers who wish to purchase prepaid funeral products online.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and customer experience enhancements.
n

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in outbound sales, tele-sales, appointment setting or contact centre environments.
n
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
n
- Is highly confident speaking with customers over the phone and building rapport quickly.

- Possesses excellent communication and active listening skills.
n
- Can navigate sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism and care.

- Has robust organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Is comfortable working with CRM systems, booking tools and Microsoft Office.

Highly Regarded

- Experience within financial services, insurance, healthcare, aged care, funeral services or other sensitive customer environments.

- Understanding of compliance requirements surrounding financial product sales and marketing.
