Position Title: Centre Director, NewDay Kids Early Learning Centre

New Day Kids (NDK) is looking for an enthusiastic Director with a passion for developing young minds and building a positive workplace culture.

About The Position

In this hands-on leadership role, you will model exemplary teaching practice, mentor staff and build a robust and cohesive team. Currently rated as Meeting National Quality Standards, with strong and supported leadership, we aim to achieve an Exceeding rating.

New Day Kids Early Learning Centre is a wonderfully appointed and well resourced Long Day Care Centre located in Figtree, Wollongong which provides 58 places per day. Who We're Looking For

n

We are looking for an educator who has:

n

n
- A degree in Early Childhood education from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or: A diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
n
- Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification
n




- Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management training
n
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain
n
- Accredited Child Protection Training
n
- National Child Safety Training (Geccko Training)
n

n

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

n

n
- A passion for leading excellence in early childhood pedagogy through regular, active engagement with teachers, educators and children.
n
- A proven ability to guide teaching teams to create collaborative, motivated, and culturally strong learning environments.
n
- Current knowledge of, and experience working within, relevant regulatory frameworks including, but not limited to:n n
- Education and Care Services National Law (2010)
n
- Education and Care Services National Regulation (2011)
n
- National Quality Standard (NQS)
n
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and/or My Time Our Place Framework
n
- Child Protection legislation
n
- National Principles of Child Safe Organisations or relevant Child Safe Standards
n
- ECA Code of Ethics
n

n
- A willingness to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations
n

n
