Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to join a high-performing engineering and project delivery team responsible for the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects and maintenance works across a large industrial site. Reporting to the Site Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supervising contractors, ensuring safety and compliance, coordinating construction activities, and supporting the delivery of multiple electrical projects and minor works programs. The team delivers around 2 million in high volume minor works under the electrical AMP each year.

The majority of work they will oversee is installation and commissioning of switchboards, substation kiosks, and trenching for conduits and cable pulling etc.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise electrical contractors undertaking construction and maintenance activities
n
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with legislative and site requirements
n
- Coordinate daily site activities, permitting and contractor access
n
- Monitor work quality, schedule performance and compliance outcomes
n
- Support the delivery of electrical infrastructure upgrades and minor capital works
n
- Provide technical guidance and oversight during construction activities
n
- Assist with project planning,
commissioning and handover activities
n
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and safety documentation
n
- Build effective relationships with project teams, contractors and stakeholders
n

About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
Essential
n
n
- Electrical Trade Qualification
n
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
n
- White Card
n
- Australian Citizen - Essential for security clearance!
n
- Current Low Voltage Rescue & CPR certification - or willing to go through.
n
- Current First Aid Certificate
n
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical contractors and construction activities
n
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, compliance and WHS legislation
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Team player
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
n
- Experience working in industrial, utilities, infrastructure, defence, manufacturing or government environments
n
- Working Safely at Heights certification
n
- Confined Space Entry certification
n
- Experience delivering minor capital works or electrical upgrade projects
n
