Job Description
GP Position | Full time | Central Coast, NSW
n
Full-time permanent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced General Practitioner
n
Full-time permanent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced General Practitioner
n
Income range between$80,000 to $100,000/ yr expectations to the right candidate
n
Work hours: Full time (38 hours a week)
n
Responsibilities and expected skills include:
n
n
- Provide primary care as per Australian General Practice Standards
n
- Preventive care Screening for Cardiovascular & Cancer
n
- Having skills to identify acute medical issues and sick patients
n
- Prior comparable skills and training in Emergency medicine
n
- Prior comparable work experience in General Practice
n
- ECG interpretation
n
- Basic medical diagnosis of respiratory disease, diabetes, Hypertension
n
- Identifying red flags based on clinical history and observation findings
n
- Have a current ALS certificate or complete one before commencing the work
n
n
Selection criteria:
n
n
- MBBS degree or higher qualification
n
- Have current AHPRA registration or Eligibility to qualify for the PESCI pathway for the AHPRA limited registration
n
- Demonstrate commitment to live and work locally for a long term
n
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to gain new skills, and knowledge, and work in a fast-paced setting
n
- Completion of CPD requirements as per the RACGP standard
n
- At least 3 years of prior work experience as a General Practitioner
n
- Previous experience in emergency care, high dependency care, and intensive care wouldbe highly regarded.
n
