About the Role

MSS Security is currently seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to join our Defence site in Canungra Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the protection of critical Defence facilities while building a rewarding career with one of Australia's leading security providers.

This is a highly sensitive environment where professionalism, discretion, integrity, accountability, and strong situational awareness are essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions. This role offers the opportunity to directly support Australia’s national security and the protection of critical Defence operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage access control and conduct regular foot patrols to maintain site security and awareness
- Engage professionally with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while maintaining a strong security presence
- Respond promptly to alarms,



incidents, and suspicious activity
- Ensure compliance with Defence security procedures and site protocols at all times
- Accurately complete incident reports, shift logs, and required documentation in line with site standards

Requirements

- Australian Citizenship - required for Defence security clearance eligibility
- QLD Security License
- Hold the required security clearance or be willing to obtain one
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure with strong attention to detail
- High integrity and accountability across all security duties
- Master License Number: 41299
