We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a focused, established team and take an active role in leading the floor.

ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER – LA PLAYA

About the role
n
This is a hands-on, floor-focused position for someone who enjoys being in the middle of service, leading from the front and keeping standards high.
n
You will work closely with the management team to run busy services, support and develop staff, maintain team morale, oversee ordering and ensure the venue operates smoothly throughout the shift.
n
Key responsibilities

- Manage the floor through busy service periods

- Lead by example and support the FOH team
n
- Train, coach and develop staff
n
- Maintain strong service standards and team morale
n
- Assist with ordering and stock requirements
n
- Resolve issues quickly, calmly and professionally
n
- Maintain presentation, compliance and operational standardsEnsure every customer receives a consistently strong experience

About you
n
n
- Proven Assistant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor or Restaurant Manager experience
n
- Strong experience managing a busy restaurant floor
n
- Fast mover who remains calm under pressure
n
- Confident problem solver with initiative
n
- Hands-on leadership style
n
- Solid communication and people-management skills
n
- High standards around service, presentation and customer experience
n
- Reliable, organised and accountable
n
- Genuine hospitality mindset and willingness to contribute to the team
n
