Warehouse Receiving - Food Distribution | Monday to Friday

Join a well-established food distribution business and become part of a high-performing warehouse team. This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Receiving Assistant with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of inbound stock processes.
n Working Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:06pm, you'll have your afternoons free and the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right person.

The Role
n You'll play an important part in ensuring stock is received accurately and efficiently, working closely with the warehouse and operational teams.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
n
- Cross-checking deliveries against purchase orders and documentation
n
- Entering and recording stock accurately into warehouse systems
n
- Identifying and investigating discrepancies, damages and missing stock
n
- Maintaining an organised and compliant receiving area
n
- Investigating stock variances and supporting stock control processes
n
- Working closely with warehouse and operational teams
n




- Contributing to continuous improvement across receiving and inventory processes
n

What We're Looking For

n

We're looking for someone who takes pride in getting things right and can work confidently in a busy warehouse environment.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving and/or inventory control
n
- Essential: experience working in a cold storage warehouse
n
- Experience within food distribution, FMCG or another high-volume warehouse environment
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Confidence using warehouse or inventory management systems
n
- Good communication and the ability to work well as part of a team
n
- A reliable, professional and committed approach to work
n
- A genuine interest in securing a long-term prospect
n
