We are looking for an experienced and trade-qualified Vehicle Spray Painter to join our professional paint shop team at Altona North.

About the Role
n
As a Vehicle Spray Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship.
n
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Applying primers, sealers, basecoats and clearcoats to a high standard
n
- Preparing surfaces through sanding, priming and minor damage repairs
n
- Colour matching and achieving consistent, quality finishes
n
- Identifying and correcting paint defects and completing touch-ups
n
- Performing minor paint repairs and buffing
n
- Working collaboratively with the team to meet scheduled workloads
n
- Operating, cleaning and maintaining spray painting equipment
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean and professional work environment
n
n
What You'll Bring

You will have:

- Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter
n
- Colour matching experience
n
- Experience working with water-based paint systems
n
- Strong minor paint repair and buffing skills
n
- PDR experience and capability highly regarded
n
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required to meet operational demand
n
- A reliable, honest and positive work ethic
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
