As a newly created position, you'll have genuine ownership of the land contract's function and the opportunity to shape how agreements are managed across a significant project portfolio. This will also evolve into its own vertical on their org chart.

About the role

n

Vinova are working with a leading energy business seeking a Land Contracts Manager to join their team in Melbourne.

n

You'll take ownership of land-related contractual arrangements across a growing portfolio of energy and infrastructure projects, working closely with Development, Legal and Commercial teams as well as landowners and external advisers.

n

This is not a traditional conveyancing position. This is an opportunity for a Real Estate Lawyer to pivot and sit close to projects and commercial decision‐making, with responsibility for progressing agreements, negotiating terms, tracking key obligations and identifying contractual risks.

Duties

n

- Manage options, leases, licences, easements, access agreements and wider land documentation
n
- Negotiate commercial terms with landowners,



advisers and internal stakeholders
n
- Track contractual obligations, critical dates, risks and deliverables across the project portfolio
n
- Support Development, Legal and Commercial teams through land acquisition and project development
n

n

Skills / experience

n

n
- Strong experience across land contracts, property, real estate or development agreements
n
- Proven commercial negotiation and contract management capability
n
- Experience within property development, infrastructure, major projects or a related environment
n
- Ability to manage multiple agreements and stakeholders across a project portfolio
n
- Legal, property, commercial or other relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
n
- Hybrid working with the opportunity to be based in Melbourne.
n
- Opportunity to transition into the energy sector without previous renewables experience
n
