- Train SEL field technical support staff (internal and external) on R&D; products and technologies.

- Maintain an understanding of industry technology and SEL products.
n
- Author service bulletins, application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets.
n
- Perform competitive analysis.
n
- Develop project use cases.
n
- Establish and perform validation testing.
n
- Create product demonstrations.
n
- Participate in the preparation of technical proposals and commercial bids.
n
- Contribute to existing and new product specifications.
n
- Perform special studies and tests as needed by customers.
n
- Participate in SEL sales and marketing activities and industry technical meetings and conferences.

Required Qualifications
n
n
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience 2+ years working knowledge of electric power systems, communication, and/or automation practices and philosophies
n
- Excellent technical training,
speaking, documentation, and writing skills
n
- Willingness to travel 25%
n
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
n
- Ability to learn recent skills and assume new responsibilities
n
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
n
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s)
