Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a large-scale Cyber Security transformation program within a complex enterprise setting.

We're looking for someone with strong technical capability who can confidently engage with architects, engineers and cyber security specialists to drive technical requirements from discovery through to implementation.

n

Working across a number of strategic cyber initiatives, you'll play a key role in translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements while navigating an environment with limited documentation and evolving technical landscapes.

As the Technical Business Analyst, you will:

n

n
- Lead technical requirements workshops with architects, engineers and cyber security teams.
n
- Elicit, analyse and document complex technical requirements.
n
- Read and interpret solution and conceptual architecture.
n
- Identify technical gaps, risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
n
- Challenge assumptions and ask the right technical questions to uncover requirements.
n
- Translate technical discussions into high-quality documentation that supports delivery.
n
- Work closely with stakeholders across infrastructure, cyber security and architecture teams throughout implementation.
n

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst delivering complex technology or cyber security programs.
n
- The ability to confidently engage with highly technical stakeholders and lead technical conversations.
n
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar technologies and connect information from multiple sources.
n
- Experience working in environments with limited documentation and ambiguous requirements.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
n

Experience across several of the following technologies and security domains will be highly regarded:

- Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), including SWG, CASB, FWaaS and ZTNA
n
- Zero Trust security frameworks
n
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
n
- Cyber security compliance and governance frameworks
n
- Cyber risk management and security controls
n
- Security Operations, monitoring and incident management
n
- Email security, phishing protection and emerging AI-related security threats
n
- VPN technologies
n
- Enterprise security architecture
n
