Chery Melbourne City & Lepas Melbourne City are looking for an experienced and driven Pre-Owned Sales Manager to lead and grow our pre-owned operation.

n

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven automotive sales professional who knows how to lead a team, drive results, manage stock and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

The Opportunity

n

As Pre-Owned Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day pre-owned operation, working closely with the Dealer Principal and senior management team to maximise sales, profitability, stock turn and customer satisfaction.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead, coach and motivate the pre-owned sales team
n
- Drive monthly sales, gross profit and stock turn targets
n
- Manage pre-owned stock acquisition, pricing and merchandising
n
- Monitor ageing stock and develop strategies to maximise profitability
n
- Manage online enquiries, leads and follow-up processes
n
- Ensure vehicles are presented to a high retail standard
n




- Maintain strong relationships with customers and drive repeat/referral business
n
- Work closely with Finance, Service and Detail teams
n
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular performance reporting
n
- Ensure CRM processes and dealership standards are consistently followed
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience in automotive sales management or a senior pre-owned sales role
n
- Strong understanding of used vehicle buying, pricing and stock management
n
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team
n
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
n
- Results-driven with a strong focus on gross profit and volume
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Highly organised with robust attention to detail
n
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
n
