Want a civil job where you actually get your afternoons and weekends back? We're looking for a hands-on Civil Labourer to join a Local Government team.

You'll be part of the crew keeping roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure in top shape - and yes, you'll get a 9-day fortnight, so every second week comes with a cheeky extra day off.

What will you be doing?
n
You'll be getting stuck into a variety of civil works, including:
n
n
- Formwork and concreting - footpaths, kerbs, gutters and pits
n
- Bitumen repairs and road restoration
n
- Pipe laying,
trenching and backfilling
n
- Setting up traffic control and keeping worksites secure
n
- General site clean-up and labouring duties
n
- Pitching in wherever the crew needs a hand
n
n
We're looking for:
n
n
- White Card - essential
n
- MR Licence or higher - highly desirable
n
- civil, road construction or drainage experience
n
- Dogman ticket - highly desirable
n
- Roller ticket - highly desirable
n
- Strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
n
- Team player with a positive attitude
n
- Someone who takes pride in doing the job properly and safely
n
