QC Supervisor

Location: Equatorial Guinea

Are you a quality professional with a passion for offshore operations and subsea projects? We are seeking an experienced QC Supervisor to be the on-site quality focal point supporting critical offshore mobilisations, pipe handling operations, fabrication activities, metrology, and system integration testing.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Offshore Mobilisation & Quay-Side Operations

n

n
- Lead quality control activities during offshore mobilisation and vessel load-out operations.
n
- Verify the readiness and compliance of materials, equipment, and documentation prior to mobilisation.
n
- Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with approved procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), lifting plans, and method statements.
n
- Conduct inspections during lifting, handling, load-out, sea fastening, and transportation activities.
n
- Identify quality concerns proactively and ensure timely resolution.
n

n

Pipe Handling, Inspection & Client Handover

n

n
- Perform quality inspections of pipes and associated materials, ensuring:n n
- Full identification and traceability
n
- Coating integrity and overall condition
n
- Compliance following lifting and handling operations
n

n
- Verify lifting arrangements and handling equipment meet project and safety requirements.
n
- Coordinate and document material handovers between client and contractor.
n
- Raise, manage, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.
n

n

Spool Fabrication & Metrology Support

n

n




- Provide quality oversight during spool fabrication and metrology activities.
n
- Verify dimensional inspections and tolerance requirements are achieved.
n
- Review survey and metrology reports for compliance and accuracy.
n
- Support fabrication quality activities including fit-up inspections, welding verification, and coating repair assessments.
n

n

System Integration Testing (SIT)

n

n
- Witness and support SIT and pre-commissioning activities when required.
n
- Ensure testing activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures.
n
- Review test results and documentation.
n
- Track punch list items through to completion and final acceptance.
n

n

Quality Documentation & Reporting

n

n
- Review and endorse inspection records, test reports, and QC documentation.
n
- Maintain accurate and auditable quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
n
- Provide regular progress updates and quality reports to Project Quality Management.
n
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with contractual requirements.
n

Stakeholder Engagement

n

n
- Serve as the primary quality representative on site in Equatorial Guinea.
n
- Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, offshore teams, construction personnel, operations teams, and HSE representatives.
n
- Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement,



and operational excellence.
n

What We're Looking For

n

Essential Experience

n

n
- Proven experience in Quality Control within the offshore, subsea, oil & gas, marine, or energy sectors.
n
- Hands-on experience supporting offshore mobilisation and quay-side operations.
n
- Robust knowledge of pipe handling, lifting operations, and material inspections.
n
- Experience with spool fabrication, dimensional control, and metrology activities.
n
- Exposure to System Integration Testing (SIT), commissioning, or pre-commissioning activities.
n
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, procedures, and quality documentation.
n

Qualifications & Skills

n

- Technical qualification in Mechanical, Structural, Welding, Quality, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
n
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, inspection processes, and industry standards.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach.
n
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
n
