The opportunity

The Team Leader Roadside Maintenance plays a key leadershiprole in delivering safe, effective and high-quality maintenanceof roadside assets, including street sweeping, drainageinfrastructure, road signs and posts. Working withinEngineering Services, this position leads operational teams andcontractors, manages maintenance programs, supports assetmanagement planning, and ensures compliance with safety,service and legislative requirements.

What you’ll do

- Lead and coordinate roadside maintenance teams, contractorsand daily operations.
- Manage street sweeping, drainage, road sign and roadsideasset maintenance programs.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS/OHScompliance across operations.
- Oversee inspections, defect management and maintenanceprioritisation of assets.
- Support asset planning, budgeting, reporting and continuousservice improvement.

What you need to succeed

- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Civil Works,Construction, Project Management or similar, or equivalentexperience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within civil maintenanceor a similar operational environment.
- Experience managing contractors, service providers andcompliance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer serviceskills.
- Sound knowledge of health,



safety and risk managementpractices.
