Our Opportunity:

Gold Fields Australia is currently seeking Process Operator to join their Processing teams across our Western Australian operations.

n

- St Ives – Residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie
n
- Gruyere – FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 7/7 Roster
n
- Granny Smith – FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 7/7 Roster
n
- Agnew - FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 7/7 Roster
n

As a key member of the site operational team, you will be responsible for operating the processing plant and associated equipment in a safe, productive and effective manner, to maximise plant performance without effecting the environment or health and safety of personnel.

What you will be doing?

n

n
- Operation of all processing plant equipment relating to Crushing, Grinding, Gravity, Leach, Adsorption, Elution, and Tails Storage Facility.
n




- Operate the process control systems.
n
- Identify and diagnose items that require preventative maintenance or repair.
n
- Maximise plant and equipment efficiency during production.
n
- Recommend and implement improvements to plant output and efficiency.
n
- Safely operate IT loader, bobcat, forklift, and power tools.
n
- Develop and maintain and adhere to procedures to ensure timely, consistent, and efficient execution of mining plans.

About you?

n

n
- Previous operating experience in a gold mineral processing environment. Applications from individuals with operating experience in other commodities will be considered.
n
- Sound knowledge of processing methodologies and equipment including Citect control system.
n
- Strong focus on safety, and a commitment to following company policies and processes.
n
- Computing skills in word processing, spread sheets and databases.
n
- Possess a valid manual driver's licence.
n
