Lead one of Brisbane Airport’s Newest hospitality destinations.

Airport Retail Group Australia (ARGA) is searching for an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our Kuhl-Cher Cafe, located in the heart of the Brisbane International Terminal

Set to land in Late 2026, Kuhl-Cher will be the largest Cafe within Brisbane International Airport at Arrivals, offering an exciting combination of table service dining and counter service. Every day, you'll welcome thousands of guests from around the world, delivering memorable hospitality experiences after they arrive or reuniting with loved ones!

Our Brisbane Airport operation is a diverse multi-million-dollar Food & Beverage hospitality business consisting of multiple premium venues with a team of 200 hospitality professionals. Our Venues include; Windmill & Co, The Aviary, The Lord Lamington, The Coffee Club – Three venues AND Manna Cafe Bar and Kuhl-Cher Cafe, our newest additions to the team!

About the Role

We are expanding our footprint within the Brisbane International Airport! As Venue Manager, you'll lead all aspects of the venue's operation, creating a positive team culture, driving financial performance and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. Working alongside our General Manager and Executive Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to influence one of the airport's newest flagship venues while developing your own leadership career.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead,



coach and develop a high-performing hospitality team.
- Drive a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork and service.
- Manage labour, wages and venue profitability.
- Maintain exceptional food safety, compliance and WHS standards.
- Oversee stock control, ordering and inventory.
- Recruit, onboard and develop future leaders.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences across restaurant and bar operations.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Airport Retail Group Australia.

About You

- Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager or Hospitality Manager.
- Strong leadership and people development skills.
- Experience in high-volume hospitality operations.
- Commercially minded with strong financial acumen.
- Hands‑on leader who leads by example.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Flexible to work across a seven‑day rotating roster.
