Duties, but not limited to:

n

Safety, Health & Sustainability

n

n
- Provide strategic and operational WHS advice to leaders.
n
- Champion a positive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
n
- Drive implementation of safety standards and best practice initiatives.
n
- Support environmental and sustainability objectives across operations.
n

n

Training, Engagement & Culture

n

n
- Manage employee and contractor inductions.
n
- Develop and deliver safety training programs.
n
- Maintain training records and competency matrices.
n
- Coach supervisors and leaders in effective safety leadership.
n
- Lead behavioural safety initiatives, safety observations and workplace inspections.
n

n

Risk Management & Compliance

n

n
- Lead risk assessments and review safe operating procedures.
n
- Develop and maintain safety documentation and systems.
n




- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and environmental requirements.
n
- Manage audits, inspections and regulatory interactions where required.
n

n

Incident & Emergency Management

n

n
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
n
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented and completed.
n
- Monitor incident trends and drive preventative actions.
n
- Support emergency response planning, testing and training activities.
n

n

Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

n

n
- Manage and improve safety management systems.
n
- Analyse safety and environmental performance data.
n
- Develop meaningful reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
n
- Drive innovation and digital improvements across safety processes.
n

n

Skills/experience required:

n

n
- Tertiary education in OH&S;
n
- Additional qualifications in risk management, enviromental or leadership are highly regarded
n
- 5+ years in safety leadership role within manufacturing or processing industry. Ideally within medium-high risk enviornments.
n
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and complaince requirements
n
- Strong experience conducting incident investigations, incident management, risk management and safety systems
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to build relationships across all staffing levels and backgrounds
n
- Excellent communication skills and has a practical solutions approach
n
