About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter or Shopfitter to join our dynamic on-site fitout team in Brendale.
This full-time role will involve a diverse range of hands-on carpentry and shopfitting tasks to support the delivery of high-quality commercial fitouts.
What you'll be doing
- Undertake carpentry and joinery work for the construction and installation of commercial fixtures and fittings
- Shop fitting which may include carpentry & plaster repairs
- Collaborate with the wider team to efficiently complete commercial shopfitting projects
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard, meeting safety and quality standards
- Contribute to the maintenance of tools, equipment and work areas
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide input on process improvements
What we're looking for
- Qualified carpenter or shopfitter with 3+ years' relevant experience
- Robust practical skills in carpentry and/or shopfitting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience working as part of a team to complete commercial fitout projects
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work safely and efficiently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must have drivers licence & own transport
- Must have a broad range of skills and be willing to work in with others
- Willing to work away or night shifts where required
