Australasian Body Corporate Management – Spring Hill QLD

Australasian Body Corporate Management (AusBCM) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our growing team based in Spring Hill. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations within a portfolio of community titles schemes governed by the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 (Qld).

About the Role

n

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate reporting across multiple body corporates.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations for body corporate portfolios
n
- Prepare and review budgets, financial statements, and reporting for committees and AGMs
n
- Ensure compliance with the BCCM Act 1997 and associated regulations
n
- Manage levy contributions, arrears, and reconciliations
n




- Liaise with auditors, committees, and internal stakeholders
n
- Oversee trust accounts and banking functions
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Proven experience in a similar financial/controller role within the strata or body corporate industry
n
- Solid working knowledge of the BCCM Act 1997 (Qld)
n
- Proficiency in StrataMax, DocMax, and Xero
n
- Experience with banking platforms and trust account management
n
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
n
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
n
