The successful applicants will receive on-the-job training in the technical components and procedures of the role, and a wide variety of laboratory processes associated with working in a modern microbiological laboratory.This a fulltime permanent position Mon-Fri 2pm-10:15pmResponsibilities include:Preparation and analysis of water, wastewater and receiving watersPreparation and analysis of microbiological samplesPreparation and analysis of inorganic samplesOrganising designated tasks for efficiencyHighlighting anomalies in results and sample type and sample behaviourAbout you:Tertiary qualifications or Certificate in Laboratory techniquesExperience with and understanding of NATA requirements desirablePrevious laboratory experience desirableDiligent in dealing with data and details and intermediate knowledge of MS applicationsCustomer focussed and a collaborative team playerFlexibility to meet our changing business needsAbility to work under pressure in a rapid-paced environmentStrong organisational skills to manage competing and changing prioritiesWorking at ALSThe ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.Our values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.At ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
