Cynergex now has exciting part time and full time opportunities for second and third year students, diploma qualified and graduate paramedics and experienced paramedics to join their team in Sydney.

n

In this role, your main responsibility will be to provide high-level emergency and occupational medical care in line with Cynergex Group scope of practice.

n

This role will see you working across two sites in the Sydney area. Each site requires you to work out of their treatment rooms for a 12 hour period (starting 6:30am or 6:30pm).

n

A typical shift may see you dealing with a wide variety of incidents including muscular injuries, intoxications, trauma, illness, mental health, cardiac, stroke, paediatric, substance abuse, burns, etc.

n

In addition, both sites support the Return to Work Program.



As such, you will be required to provide assistance to return to work employees.

You will also undertake and complete administrative tasks including patientcare records and other documents required by each client site.

What you'll need to be successful

n

n
- You must live in Sydney, NSW
n
- A Degree in Paramedical Science OR have completed a Diploma In Health Sciences - Paramedic, OR be in the 2nd or final year of your Paramedic Degree.
n
- Ability to undergo criminal history check and working with children check
n
- Current unencumbered drivers licence
n
- Registration with AHPRA (or pending registration)
n
- Ability to work 12 hours shifts over a 24 hour period as part of a 6-week roster including weekends and public holidays.
n
- Most importantly, it is essential that you are a reliable team player and are confident in your clinical skills. Resilience, initiative, and passion for what you do will be pivotal in your success in the role.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractively hourly rate of $44.52 The public holiday and overtime rate is $80.41 per hour.
